Job Description:
Porterfield Trucking LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support our operations by managing driver paperwork, processing invoices, handling payroll, and performing other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Register trucks and trailers, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
Manage IRP (International Registration Plan) and DOT compliance requirements.
Prepare and file IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) quarterly fuel reports.
Organize and maintain driver paperwork, including logs and compliance documents.
Process invoices and track payments.
Assist with payroll processing and employee records.
Handle data entry and maintain accurate records.
Communicate with drivers and customers as needed.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous administrative experience preferred.
Understanding of IRP, DOT compliance, and IFTA fuel reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) & Quickbooks
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn.
